Erica Ibsen

"Florence grad lands role in David Spade comedy sequel."
Interview with Ravalli Republic newspaper.

Growing up on a small hobby farm in rural Montana, Erica fell in love with performing at age 9 when she stepped onto the stage for the first time as Gnome #7 in a school production of Rumpelstiltskin.  In the years to come, she would perform in a number of community productions and the world-famous Missoula Children's Theater program.  An early starring role as Cinderella transformed what had been an adolescent hobby into a lifelong passion.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Erica made her LA stage debut in the Ovation Award-winning rock musical Bad Apples with the Circle X Theatre Company. She is currently singing and dancing on the Lounge Theatre stage in Future Sex, Inc., a pop/hip-hop satire (tix at: www.plays411.com/future).

In addition to her work in Los Angeles theatre, Erica's recent film and television highlights include Showtime's long-time hit Dexter as well as films Joe Dirt 2: A Beautiful Loser, Timber the Treasure Dog and The Grounds.

Erica is also passionate about music and is a singer, dancer, as well as a clarinet and guitar player. She is also an avid fan of sports, participating in a wide variety including softball, yoga, mogul skiing, rock climbing and marathon running.  Erica’s favorite color is green, she believes vinyl is better than mp3 and that everyone should gut laugh at least three times a day.
